This converter is ranked #13 in our comparison of free PDF to Word converter tools (i.e. out of 16 converters, it is #13).

Strengths: A desktop-based free PDF to Word converter (which is a rarity). Converts to many other formats not just DOC (converts to SWF fairly decently).
Weaknesses: handling of text/images/tables is not very advanced and cuts corners (compared to tools higher up on this list). Promises PDF to EPUB conversions but these did not open in ebook readers when we tested (although this does not relate to its PDF to Word functionality).
