File hosting and Synchronization service like Google Drive or Dropbox are great, especially if you have multiple devices. You can access your files from almost everywhere. But how can you save a file, (for example a cool image) from the web into your cloud storage accounts without going through many steps of downloading and uploading?.
Ballloon (yes, there are three L’s in the name) solves this problem by allowing you to save straight into your cloud accounts (including Dropbox), in order to make the world a little better.
You can download the extension at the link below. Once installed, click the Ballloon toolbar button and sign into your Google account. Don’t worry, you’re only granting permission to create files.
These two paragraph are written by Mark Wilson at lifehacker.com. So good that we can not even change a word: “Visit a website and hover your mouse over an image. A small overlay appears to the upper right of the image, featuring a Dropbox and a Google Drive icon. Click either to save the image to one of these cloud storage locations. The first time you use either, you need to authorize Balllon’s access, but from that point forward it will be a one-click-process.”
Many people may think that these hover icons might sometimes be inconvenient. Ballloon also provides a cool way to show/hide these icons.

Yes you can switch those icons on and off by pressing L three times in a second! (is that cool or what?).
Recently, Ballloon updates a special version. In this version 1.5.4 you can connect your Ballloon with The ‘Yo’ notification tool, with 3 ways of using both together:
1. “Yo me” everytime when Ballloon updates, or
2. “Yo me” when a file arrives, or
3. “Yo me” when a big file arrives (?1GB).
You can find out details here if you have logged in : https://ballloon.com/yo
Moreover, in the future, Ballloon is going to support additional cloud services like OneDrive and Box. Also the developers say they will find more cool and interesting ways to enrich the function of Ballloon.
